I've got yet another story. This weekend I created a poster on one of our marker boards at work for a special we have. I thought it was brilliant and it took oh, 2ish hours to complete. (It was all snowy and icy so I had plenty of time to do that) My manager hung it up after Daniel (our technical support person/cashier) and I approved it.
The next day, I came back to work after quiz bowl and looked up to see my brilliant drawing and what greeted me? A blank markerboard. Apparently some people don't appreciate when I do things because a.) they didn't do it and b.) it was too awesome for them to draw it. So I was angry the rest of the night.
Yesterday while I was home sick, Daniel texted me saying he had bought me a 64 pack of markers that didn't erase with an eraser, only water. He also said he would hide them from the girl who erased my drawing. This will be fun now. The next time I work is Saturday morning, and I'm bound and determined to draw my special back on the board.
