Start to a wonderful day :/
Well I woke up this morning (early) to work on my AP Calculus, since I got home late last night from work. I ended up falling asleep while doing my homework and so I did not get that done (also, I didn't quite understand all of it, so I therefore couldn't finish it). Figuring I'd be able to get help with my assignments, I set out early to go to school. I started my car up and it was cold out, so I let it sit for a little, but probably not long enough. Within a minute or two, I backed out of the driveway and started down the street. My car was moving very slowly, and at first I thought it was just cold. I took it easy down my street, not even reaching speeds of 25 mph. It was rattling more than normal, so that bothered me just a little bit. I turned and started down Norfolk Ave. but I wasn't able to keep up with the cars as mine wasn't even going above 20 mph now. I pulled my car into an empty lot and put it in park. My car is still probably a bit cold, I thought to myself. If I let it sit a bit longer, this problem will clear right up. I sat for a few minutes, listening to some Katy Perry and the beginning of a Maroon 5 song. I shifted my car into drive and began to pull out but it was still clunking along, making that horrid noise. So, I shifted the thing into park again and got out. I walked over to my passenger side and what did I see? I had a flat tire. Terrific. I called my mom's cell, worrying that I would be late to school. She didn't answer that, so I tried the home phone and I was upset by now. Eventually, my dad came to the lot; I parked my car along the street and he took me to school, and I'm still not done with my Calculus.
